Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Monday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Drawing Room of Thompson's Harveson & Cole. Memorials: St. Paul Lutheran Brazil Missions, 1800 W. Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas 76102. John was born in Lajeado, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, on Jan. 10, 1926, to Orlando and Olga Einloft Fett. John moved to Fort Worth in 1955, received his citizenship in 1956, and retired after a long career as manager of First Finance. He loved classical music, the Van Cliburn competition, Aggie sports and international soccer. John was a master on the grill and his green thumb produced the best tomatoes. Strong in faith and the Lord, he was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church for many years. He was a sweet and loving man that led an exemplary life for all of us to follow and we know that when he came before the Lord, the Lord said, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." The family wants to thank the staff at Kingwood Medical Center and Regent Care Center of Kingwood for their loving support. John was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Jo Mackey Fett; his brother, Mario Fett; and a grandson, John Matthew Fett.
