Amy Michelle Strahan
(May 17, 1990 - January 28, 2016)
Amy Michelle Strahan, 25, resident of Covington, LA passed away on January 28, 2016 at her residence.
Amy graduated with honors in 2008 from Cinco Ranch High School in Katy TX and continued her education at Texas A&M where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering. She loved scuba diving and being adventurous and traveled to many exotic places. She also loved her constant companion Kovu that she adopted.
Amy is survived by her mother and step father Shirley L. (James Michael) Cavanaugh; her father Harold Stanley Strahan; 3 sisters and their husbands Amber (Stamper) Scott, Alaina (Mike) Keen, and Misty (Jeff) Dickens; a brother Shane Boler; a step brother Jeremy Cavanaugh; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be all Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Westside Emmanuel Baptist Church with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. and remaining open until the service at 2:00 P.M. Rev. Marcus Rosa will officiate the service.
Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
