Francisco “Paco” Garcia-Castells, 42 of Piedras Negras, Coahuila passed away on July 29, 2015.
Paco, as he was affectionately called, proudly attended and graduated from Texas A& M with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Development in 1998.
Paco served as Mayor of Guerrero, Coahuila from 2011 through 2013. In 2014, he was named Secretary of Economic Development for the state by the governor of Coahuila. He had many projects planned one of the most important to him was fulfilling the Eagle Ford
Shale Project in the state of Coahuila. Paco’s family always came first in his life. He was a wonderful example of what a son, brother, father and husband should be. Aside from being a public servant to his community, he always put everyone first and no matter
what kind of day he was having he always greeted everyone with a smile. Paco had a genuine heart of gold and he touched the lives of many people.
Paco had a deep love for living life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time at his family ranch where he raised his horses and cattle along with his father and best friend Don Paco and his dear brother Manuel. He was successful in giving his sons Francisco
"Paquito" and Miguel his complete love of nature and they will carry it with them forever. He freely expressed his love to everyone with his caring heart, he was always ready to lend a hand and he had great compassion for each and every person that were fortunate
to cross paths with him. Paco was a great man of faith and he firmly believed in what was right and just for all and he lived his life to the fullest until the very end. Before his time on earth was cut short, he made sure to visit and be with the people he
deeply cared for and loved especially one of his mentors Mr. Don Jobes. Paco has left a tremendous void and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Paco is survived by his wife and two beautiful sons Francisco & Miguel Garcia-Castells. His loving parents Francisco M. Garcia-Castells y Perez and Maria Camila Alanis de Garcia-Castells. His sister Camila Garcia-Castells de Zamora and brother in law Ricardo
Zamora Tejeda of Chihuahua, Chih. His brother Manuel Garcia-Castells Alanis and his sister in law Elsa Losoya de Garcia-Castells. His nephews Ricardo Zamora, Patricio Zamora, Camila Zamora, Emma C. Garcia-Castells & Manuel Garcia-Castells.
