He leaves behind many good memories shared with his “football” colleagues beginning at DeQuincy High School and continuing the next four years while attending on a football scholarship and playing with Texas A&M. Fred created many opportunities for children with his involvement and coaching of Little League throughout his life.

Fred will be truly missed and remembered by his surviving family consisting of his wife, Wanda Lee Price Broussard, three children, Sheree Ellzey, Fred E. Broussard, Jr and wife, Susan Broussard, Jan Orr and husband, David Orr; along with his grandchildren, S. Beau Broussard, Allison Nicole Ellzey, Kade Broussard, Payden Lee Orr, Natalie Orr, and one great-grandson, William Kade Broussard.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Woodie L. Broussard, Dr. F. H. (Jim) Broussard, and Donovan D. (Tuby) Broussard.

In lieu of flowers please donate to your local sports youth organization of your choice in memory of Fred E. Broussard, Sr.
