Wilburn Tefteller, Jr.
(October 13, 1935 - March 17, 2015)
Gilmer -- Graveside services for Wilburn Teftyeller, Jr., 79, of Gilmer, will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015, at 10 A.M. at Kelsey Cemetery with Bishop Dean Fowler officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
Born on October 13, 1935, in Gilmer, Texas, he died on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. He was the son of Wilburn Tefteller, Sr. and Tessie Lindsey. He was married to Faye McWhorter Tefteller.
He was a retired chemist for Texas Instruments and a dairyman.
He is survived by his children, Kristin and Ray Culberson, Stephen and Laralynn Tefteller, Tom Pat Tefteller and Ellen Woockman; Michael and Julie Tefteller; Liesl and Jeff Glass; grandchildren, Megan and Joey Bice, Sierra and BK Drennan, Cutter Tefteller, Ashton Culberson, Caleb Mitchell, Jacob Tefteller, Kailon Culberson, Hollie Tefteller, Elizabeth Glass; 2 great-grandchildren, Conley Rose Bice and Finley Blake Bice; 5 brothers, Steve Tefteller, Charles Tefteller, Glenn Tefteller, Larry Tefteller, and Ricky Tefteller; and 3 sisters, Patricia Daniels, Ruth Ann Childress, and Paula Burkett.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Tefteller; parents, Wilburn, Sr., and Tess Tefteller; sister, Gwendolyn Tefteller; and brother, Randy Joe Tefteller.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
