Kelly Vincent Coffman
June 2, 1958 - February 28, 2015

Kelly Vincent Coffman, P.E., 56, of Columbus, Texas passed away on February 28, 2015 in Columbus, TX. 

He was born on June 2, 1958 to Vincent and Carolyn (Harned) Coffman in Houston, TX. Kelly worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Bechtel. On August 23, 1980 he married his college sweetheart, Sandy Sparkman.

He lived life to the fullest. In addition to loving his family, he had a heart for God, loved living at the Ranch in Columbus, TX and thoroughly enjoyed his rambunctious Pomeranians.

He rode in the MS150 bike ride for 19 years, was a member of the N.R.A., the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Association of Former Students, Texas A&M University, and a proud member of the Republican Party.

Kelly leaves his wife, Sandy Coffman of Houston, TX, mother, Carolyn Coffman of Austin, TX, daughter, Megan Clarissa Coffman of Houston, TX, son, Joshua Vincent Coffman of Houston, TX, and brothers, Barry Coffman and wife Susan of Austin, TX, and Tracy Coffman and wife Colleen of Austin, TX to hold his memory in their hearts.

He was preceded in Heaven by his father, Vincent T. Coffman.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015, from 11:30 am to 12:00 am at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, TX.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at 12:00 pm at Henneke Funeral Home, in Columbus, TX, with Christian Moore officiating.

Pallbearers are Joshua Vincent Coffman, Barry Coffman, Tracy Coffman, Jerry Sparkman, Danny Mundinger, Dan Mundinger, Ebi Komonibo, Steve Snyder, Logan Jackson, Joe Jackson, Bob Tompkins, and Don Pendergast. Honorary Pallbearers are Fran Kluat, Blaine Coffman, and Clay Coffman.

Burial will take place in Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church of Columbus, 1229 Milam St., Columbus, TX 78934.
