Julie Suzanne Shaw age 43 of Springdale died Thursday, December 9, 2010 at her home. She was born on Saturday, February 4, 1967 to Robert Lewis and Sue S. Smith Shaw in Mena. 

Julie was a very giving person and loved to help people. She liked to volunteer helping homeless shelters. She was passionate about animals and rescuing them. 

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her brother, Joe Shaw of Big Fork; two nieces, Courtney Jo Shaw and Myranda Nicole Shaw both of Bentonville; two uncles, Matt Smith and John Smith both of Mena; one aunt, Carolyn Standridge of Mena; one former sister in law, Lisa Shaw of Bentonville; several cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Carl Palmer officiating at the Shady Cemetery under the direction of Hall Funeral Service in Mena. 

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Elm Springs Methodist Church P.O. Box 8, Elm Springs, Arkansas 72728.
