Fred Wells, 82, of Devine, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 27 2014. Memorial Services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 2, 10:00 am at Hurley Funeral Home. Fred will be laid to rest in private services with family at the Montell Cemetery, Montell, TX.
Fred is survived by his loving wife Marlene of 58 years, daughters: Sharon Wells Lutz, and Cindy Wells McCarthy and husband Mitch McCarthy, grandchildren: Rachel Lutz, Allyson Lutz, Colter Lutz and Jacob McCarthy, his sister Sally Whitten and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents Faith Coleman Frasier and Buford Wells, and his sister Jeanette Mistrot.
The family has requested memorial donations be made to one of the following: the Alzheimer's Association of Texas, the Texas Orchestra Directors Association or the Texas Choral Directors Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hurley Funeral Home, 303 W. College Ave., Devine, TX 78016, (830) 663-4445.
