John Henry Rosenow

John Henry "Pete" Rosenow died at his home at Mud Creek Ranch, Kinney County, Texas on November 3, 2013. Pete was born on the Rosenow family ranch near Carta Valley on November 26, 1923 to Henry and Ruby Rosenow. He is survived by his son: Paul and his wife Allison: daughter: Margo Rosenow; granddaughters: Hannah, Madison, and Ainsley Rosenow; and numerous nieces and nephews. He graduated from Uvalde High School and attended Texas A & M before enlisting in the Naval Air Corps during WWII and serving in the Aleutian Islands. Pete was preceded in death by his wife: Peggy Scott Rosenow: son: Henry Rosenow II, and sister: Frieda Rosenow Rogers. Visitations for John is on Tuesday, 4-9:00P.M, November 5, 2013 at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The Family will received visitors from 4-7:00P.M. Graveside services will be held at the Carta Valley Cemetery, Wednesday, 2:00P.M, November 6, 2013 with The Reverend John Fritts officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are Jerry Neighbors, Randy Sheppard, John Wardlaw, David Edwards, Street Rogers, Tom Swinson, Bob Cain and Jeff Lewey.
