On Saturday, May 11, 2013 of Chevy Chase Maryland passed away at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda Maryland. Chiyoko is preceded in death by her husband, Takashi Ichiye. Beloved mother of Toshiko Ichiye of Bethesda, Maryland and Keiko Ichiye of Dallas, Texas; Loving grandmother of Monica and Marina Plate; Sister of Satoyo Aoki, Takeshi and Kazuko Nagao. Friends will be received at PUMPHREY'S BETHESDA-CHEVY CHASE FUNERAL HOME, 7557 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, MD on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 7-9PM.

Friends will be received at Pumphrey's Bethesda-Chevy Chase Funeral Home, 7557 Wisconsin Ave. in Bethesda, MD on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Chiyoko was a former resident of College Station, Texas where she received her master's degree at Texas A & M University in Environmental Design.
Chiyoko was preceded in death by her husband, Takashi Ichiye, a former professor of Oceanography at Texas A & M University.
Beloved mother of Toshiko Ichiye of Bethesda, MD and Keiko Ichiye of Dallas, Texas; loving grandmother of Monica and Marina Plate; sister of Satoyo Aoki, Takeshi and Kazuko Nagao.
