Robert "Bob" O'Hara
Born: June 21, 1928
Died: February 18, 2013
Location: Hot Springs Village, Arkansas
Bob O'Hara, 84, died Monday, February 18, 2013. He was born in Witchita Falls, TX to Cecil and Myrl Stimpson O'Hara.
He graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor's degree in 1949. He then went to work at Kelly Air Force base in San Antonio for the Air Force Security Service, progressing from GS3 to GS13 over the next 10 years.
He married Junell Waskow in 1951 and moved with their 3 daughters to Dallas where he owned a successful real estate business for 30 years.
In 2005, Bob and Junell retired to Hot Springs Village where they enjoyed golf, tennis, and especially bridge.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Junell, and his 3 daughters-Quay O'Hara (Tom) of HSV; Siri Berg (Bob) of San Francisco; Kyra Bovee (John) of Denver; and 2 grandsons, J.T. and Cody Bovee. He is also survived by his sister, Peggy O'Hara and nephews, Greg
and Ward. He was preceded in death by his brother Charles.
A simple memorial service will be held at the HSV Unitarian Universalist Church at 403 Barcelona Road on Friday, March 1 at 2 p.m.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HSV Unitarian Universalist Church, Village Card Club, HSV Animal Shelter, or an organization of choice.

Robert S. O’Hara ‘49
Robert (Bob) S. O’Hara, of Dallas (formerly Wichita Falls) died February 18, 2013.
After graduation, he worked for the Air Force Security Service at Kelly Air Force base until going into the residential real estate business – Bob O’Hara Realtors – in Dallas in 1959. His successful real estate career spanned 30 plus years.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Junell, three daughters, who despite his best efforts graduated from tu, University of Houston, and University of Northern Colorado, and two grandsons.
After years of retirement, he and his wife moved to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, in 2005, until his recent death.
