John Michael Curtis
March 17, 1958 - February 7, 2013
John Michael Curtis, age 54, of San Antonio, went Home to be with the Lord Thursday, February, 7, 2013 surrounded by his family.
He was a civil engineer in the Army Corps of Engineers for 31 years in various locations including Albuquerque, Galveston, Brussels (Belgium) and Wiesbaden (Germany), having been presented the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service for his work in Europe. He
graduated from Texas A&M (class of 1981) with a degree in Civil Engineering.
He is preceded in death by his father, J. W. Curtis.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Frank Daniel; son, Christopher; son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Kelly; daughter, Sabrina; mother, Mary; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Elizabeth; sister and brother-in-law, Rosalynn
and Dan Parker; sister and brother-in-law, Juliann and Jay Pritchett; sister, Lucy Morgan; aunt, Roberta Maness; and nieces and nephews Tiffany Ziomek and Kurtis and Tyler Parker.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 10 from 6-8 PM at Porter Loring North.
