Kyle Carnahan
Kyle Britt
Carnahan, 42, of Spring, TX, passed away on Friday, October 5th, surrounded by his family and friends.
Kyle grew up in Dumas, TX, attended and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1992 with a Bachelors of Science Degree. While at A&M Kyle met and married the love of his life, Ana Pena Carnahan. They have three beautiful children, Avery, Mason and Mia. Kyle excelled in his career at ExxonMobil and continued his education; He was a Ph.D. candidate in Industrial Engineering and earned both a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Arizona State University.
Kyle can best be remembered as the light in the room that made everyone want to be around him, but those who knew him could see his focus was always on his family and they gave him his light. His wife and three children were his world. His laughter, friendship, and easy manner will be forever missed by all who knew him. Kyle is survived by his adoring wife, Ana and three children, Avery (17), Mason (14) and Mia (11); father Jim Carnahan of Dumas, TX; brother, Randall Carnahan of Austin, TX; sister, Traci Stark of Katonah, NY; and many more in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and family.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors and staff at MD Anderson, their church family, and many friends and family members that have helped them through this difficult time. We are truly in awe at the outpouring of love and support we have received in this difficult time.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Faithbridge United Methodist Church, 18000 Stuebner Airline Road, Spring, TX 77379.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be made to the Gray Matters Brain Cancer Fund at www.gmbcf.org in the name of Kyle Carnahan.
