Lester Lee Roark
Lester Lee Roark, 84, of Beaumont, died Thursday, August 9, 2012, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on June 29, 1928, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Beulah Grimes Roark and Morris F. Roark. Mr. Roark was a United States Army veteran and
a 1950 graduate of Texas A&M University. He was a retired engineer with Mobil Oil Refinery. Survivors include his daughters, Barbara Sherman and her husband, Gary, of Nederland and Susan Roby and her husband, Sam, of Plano; sons, David Roark and his wife,
Elizabeth, of Lumberton and Richard Roark and his wife, Tere, of Marshall; grandchildren, Michael Sherman, Jamie Sherman, Justin Roark, Megan Finley, Ryan Roark, Ross Roark, Renee Roark, Christopher Roby, and Paul Roby; three great- grandchildren; and cousins,
Margaret Shane and Ruby Seaman. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bill, Louis and Charles Roark. A gathering of Mr. Roark's family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 11, 2012, at
