Jerry Pasek, 88, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Solarbron. He was born July 28, 1924 in Putnam County, TN.
Jerry graduated from Central High School, University of Evansville, Texas A&M, and Ohio State.
He worked for the US Government at Wright Patterson Field in Research and Development for his entire career. Jerry served in the US Army Air Corp from 1943-1945.
Jerry was a devoted and active member of Lyon County Scholarship Fund, Lyon County Library Board, and Lyon County Historical Society.
Jerry was preceded in death by siblings, Anton Pasek, Emily McManus, and Helen Randolph.
Jerry is survived by his two sisters, O'Tillia O'Connor of Miamisburg, OH and Margie Fisher of Evansville; and 10 nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
