Countdown To Kick-off

With a new head coach, new conference and new uniforms, the upcoming Aggie football season is one of the most anticipated in years. Please see below for a special invitation from Coach Kevin Sumlin to join him and the players for a practice, dinner and auction on Aug. 23, just a week before the Aggies open their season.


Howdy, Aggie Football Fans,

On August 23, the Texas A&M Football Team will host the 3rd Annual Countdown to Kick-off Dinner.  This exclusive event will take place in the Zone Club at Kyle Field following one of our final practices of fall camp as we prepare for the upcoming season.

The private practice will be closed to the public and only open to those attending the Countdown to Kick-off Dinner.  Guests will be able to watch the practice from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. in the comfort of the Zone Club.  Following the scrimmage we will host a social hour from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. that will include both a live auction and a silent auction featuring many unique and priceless items that will allow the winners to get up-close and personal with the Aggie Football Program.  Dinner with the players will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m.
After the social hour, players and staff will join guests for dinner as the team gives a preview of the 2012 season based on the latest information from what we have seen in practices this fall.

Tables and individual reservations are available for purchase and will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. They will go fast! The following is the breakdown for table costs.

SEC Sponsor - $10,000.00 - SOLD OUT

All the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Texas A&M Football program and will help fund major upgrades to the Bright Football Complex and the McFerrin Indoor Practice Facility. We are entering a new conference with a new level of competition; not only on the field but also in the arms race of facilities. We will need to make some upgrades to our current facilities to catch up to our competition and the proceeds from this event will help us do that. Our goal is to brand our football facilities so they are appealing to visiting recruits and also comfortable for our current players to enjoy. As you know, recruiting is the lifeblood of our program and we want to be on a level playing field with our competition.
