CHARLES WILLIAMS
Williams, Charles Cole, of Dana Point, CA passed away on July 15, 2012 from pancreatic cancer. Mr. Williams was born on October 22, 1938 in Alto, Texas. "Cole" grew up in Nederland, Texas where he was an All - State football star under the direction of coach
Bum Phillips. Cole was valedictorian of his graduating high school class at Nederland High School and received his bachelor of engineering degrees from Texas A & M University. Cole was a successful executive and 35 year employee of the internationally re-known
Fluor Corporation which was previously based in Irvine CA. In additions to his international travel, Mr. Williams was an avid classic car collector and a member of local Jaguar Owners Clubs. He and his wife, Melanie Williams (d.August 2007), also owned Rococo
Antiques in San Juan Capistrano. Mr. Williams was a supporter of many local and national charities and was very involved in his grandchildren's activities including baseball games and equestrian competitions. At the time of his death, Cole was surrounded by
his only child, Melissa Beck, her children, Jacqueline and Alexander Beck, and son-in-law, Bruce Beck of Aliso Viejo, CA; as well as his only brother, Dr. F Lynn Williams of Dallas, Texas. There is a Celebration of Life in Cole's honor on July 21 at El Adobe
De Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano at noon. Mr. Williams will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Melanie, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas at 11 a.m. on August 4th with a reception to follow. Donations can be sent to the American Cancer
