Brother Mark Edward Conway
April 28, 1955 - October 31, 2011

Bro. Mark Edward Conway, age 56, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 31,2011 in Haywood Park Community Hospital, Brownsville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents: H.J. Conway and Mary Tipton Conway.

Brother Mark was on the Tennessee Baptist Executive Board, Haywood Baptist Association, Dixie Youth Baseball Association Commissioner, as well as Coaching. His team was state runner up twice. He was a battalion Commander in the A & M Core of Cadets; he was a member of the Ross Volunteers Governors Honor Guard. He was former owner & operator of Asent Oil & Gas Co. Brother Mark earned his Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Brother Mark was the beloved pastor of Zion Baptist Church for sixteen years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be conducted under the direction of the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 4:00 P.M., at Zion Baptist Church, Brownsville, TN with Rad Ellington officiating.

Burial will follow in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Brownsville, TN.

He is survived by his wife: Lisa Law Conway; three daughters: Rachel Diane Conway Stewart, (Bobby), Sarah Anne Conway, and Hannah Marie Conway, one son: David Mark Conway; one brother: Joe Conway; five sisters: Linda Mullen, Kathy Conway, Ruth York, Diana Van Horn, and Ann Huddleston.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, from 2-4 PM prior to the service, at Zion Baptist Church.
