Frank Mallory Pittman
Frank Mallory Pittman, 75, of Bowling Green, died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at The Medical Center.
The Muhlenberg County native was a retired professor at Western Kentucky University. He taught 38 years focusing on industrial design and woodworking. He did his undergraduate studies at WKU and received his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Consuelo (Connie) Pittman; a daughter, Anna Marie Woodring and her husband, Matt, of Bowling Green; a son, Dr. David Mallory Pittman and his wife, Chelle, of Nashville; four grandchildren, John Walker Woodring, Katherine
Elizabeth Woodring, Mary Rose Pittman and Mallory Alyse Pittman; a sister, Martha Kirkpatrick; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Mallory Pittman and Daisy Marie Pittman.
A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Christ United Methodist Church.
