Ian Bacheller
Ian McMillan Bacheller took his own life Friday, March 23 at the age of 21 in Fort Collins, Colorado. He was born on May 7, 1990 in The Hague, The Netherlands to John and Sue Ann Bacheller. He was smart, charming, athletic, sensitive, kind-hearted and well loved by all. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Ian is survived by his parents, sisters Hannah, 19, and Shannon, 17, grandparents George and Joanne Plum, John Jr. and Karen Bacheller and Pucky Bacheller, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM at John Wesley United Methodist Chapel, 5830 Bermuda Dunes Drive, Houston. A celebration of his life will follow at the home of Nelson and Sonja Ferries. The family has asked that donations be made to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in lieu of flowers.
