Weekend of memories: Campus Muster Remembrance Ceremony honors fallen: A capacity crowd of 13,000 packed Reed Arena on Saturday to observe the hallowed tradition and pay respect
to fellow Aggies.
Grief fresh after loss, family finds comfort at Muster: Chris Kaitson, Michael's dad, served as a candleholder during Saturday night's ceremony. "Hearing your son's name
and hearing people acknowledge and respect him, it's very comforting," he said. "Michael had a bond with the college. And by us participating in Muster, it solidified a family bond with the college."

Nathan W. Anderson ’02 from Amarillo, who died Feb. 22 in a helicopter accident during a training exercise at the Yuma Training Range Complex near the Arizona-California border, and. Army Lt. Col.
David E. “Dave” Cabrera ’92 from Houston, died Oct. 29, 2011, when a suicide bomber rammed an armored bus in the Afghan capital of Kabul.
