Eddie Richard
Richard, Eddie A. Eddie A. Richard, born August 20, 1926, passed away April 7th, 2012 at the age of 85. Eddie was in the Navy in WWII, and graduated from Texas A&M in January of 1949. He married Sue Warren on January 29, 1949. He was owner and operator of Superior
Bakery, Inc., first on Oak Lawn Ave. and finally on Lemmon Ave. He retired in January of 1984. Eddie was a 33 Degree Mason, a Shriner, and a member of the Hella Temple Legion of Honor. His favorite hobby was woodworking, as well as skiing and snowmobiling
in Crested Butte, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josef Optimo and Annie Pearl Richard, his son Paul Edward Richard, and his daughter, Renee Richard Smith. Eddie is survived by his wife, Sue Warren Richard, his grandsons, Christopher Richard Smith
and his wife Annalise Marie and John Aaron Richard, and his granddaughter, Kelly Ann Richard. He is also survived by one great grandson, Colby Warren Smith. An inurnment service will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Memorial Park on Wednesday, April 25, 2012,
at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in memory of Eddie.
