Herman B. Rose OLTON - Funeral services for Herman B. Rose, 82, of Olton, will be at 2 p.m. today at Main Street Church of Christ with Brad Wangerin and Etta Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Mr. Rose died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in Olton. He was born April 15, 1930, to Walter and Dovie Cavett Rose. He graduated from Olton High School and Texas A&M with a bachelor's degree in animal husbandry. He was a lifetime Olton resident and second generation
farmer. On Aug. 19, 1956, he married Ethel Wolff in Austin. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-61. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Brent Rose and wife Cheryl of Olton and Bryan Rose and wife Dawn of Lubbock; one brother, Oliver Rose of Olton; and four
grandchildren. His parents, two brothers, Garland Rose and Elson Rose, and a sister, Alete Rose, are deceased. The family suggests memorials to the Olton Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 1055, Olton, TX 79064 or Olton Volunteer Ambulance Association, P.O. Box
