Services for Cpt. John Patrick "Pat" Baugh, DVM, 41, of Plano, Texas (formerly of Edgewood), are scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday April 17, 2012 at Eubank Chapel with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Canton, Texas.
He passed away April 13, 2012 in Plano, TX.
He was born July 11, 1970 in Tyler, TX, to Jesse Junior and Joyce Louise Jackson Baugh.
Pat was raised in Edgewood, Tx. where he attended school up through Jr. High. He moved to Atlanta, TX. where he graduated High School in 1988. After graduation Pat served in the US Army during Desert Storm as an expert marksman. When his four year term was completed he remained in the Army Reserves and in 2007 he re-enlisted in the US Army serving as Captain until the present time. Pat moved to College Station, TX and earned his Doctorate Degree from Texas A&M in Veterinary Medicine. He practiced his skills at the Kyle Veterinary Clinic in Carthage, Tx. and later became a Co Owner. After selling the Clinic in 2008 he then moved to Anchorage, Alaska where he practiced until January 2012. He then moved back to Texas and practiced in Plano, Tx. up until the present time.
Pat had his small plane pilots license and loved flying, he loved hunting, fishing, scuba diving and other outdoor activities along with playing the guitar and his boston terrier "Joe". To have known Pat was to love him. His favorite saying was "If love can't heal it an Aggie Vet Can".
Surviving are Wife, Mother, Sisters, Nephews, Nieces, Boston Terrier, "Joe".
John was preceded in death by Father, Jesse Junior Baugh, Brother, Jeffrey Jay Baugh.
Family will receive friends Monday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
