Gonzalez, Elizabeth Flotte Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Elizabeth graduated from Texas A&M University in 2000 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. She took a lot of pride in her profession as an aerospace engineer. Her professional experience included work on the F-16, V-22, and, most recently, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. She was married in 2003 to Agustin Gonzalez and they had three beautiful children: Nicolas, Vladimir, and Nelson. She also loved her work with the Dallas-based scholarship organization, Educational Opportunities, that raised money for young kids to go to college from disadvantaged backgrounds. Elizabeth passed away April 13, 2012 at home with her loving family at her bedside. In addition to being survived by her husband and three boys, she is also survived by her Parents, Valentin & Lucila Flotte; Sisters, Erika & Bianca Flotte; Brother, Mike Flotte. Visitation will be held Tuesday April 17, 2012 from 1:00PM till 9:00PM with a Rosary scheduled for 7:30PM. Please join the family 9:30AM Wednesday April 18, 2012 for Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin Guadalupe 2215 Ross Ave. Dallas, TX 75201. Interment DFW National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas, TX 75211. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Elizabeth Flotte Gonzalez Scholarship Fund, Educational Opportunities, 8350 North Central Expressway, Suite 775, Dallas, Texas 75206.
