Rededication Of Expanded/Renovated Memorial Student Center Set For Saturday: April 21 is always a special day in Aggieland. This year it also will mark the rededication of the Memorial Student Center.

Renovated Memorial Student Center A Campus Model For Sustainability: When the renovated Memorial Student Center reopens next week, it will become one of several facilities on the Texas A&M campus built with sustainability in mind.

Elizabeth Andrasi '11, the 62nd MSC President and CEO, invites everyone to an event reinstating the MSC traditions of “hats off” and “stay off the grass.” These traditions will be ceremoniously recognized Thursday, April 19 at 5:15pm on the side of the MSC facing Simpson Drill Field. "We will be sharing what these traditions mean to Aggies everywhere and replanting a section of the grass, then walking off of it for the last time," she said.

The History And Tradition Of MSC: This is a link to a video of student leaders from across campus sharing their excitement and experiences in the MSC, as well as talking about the history and traditions.

The Memorial Student Center: Keeping Traditions Alive: When the Memorial Student Center reopens April 21, the building and its traditions will be uncharted territory for many Aggies.

Flag Room Serves As Iconic Campus Home: The Memorial Student Center long stood as the center for student activity on campus, touted as the “home of the University.” The Flag Room, originally known as the promenade, was considered the heart of that home.

MSC History Builds On Past Renovations: During their time at A&M, the Classes of 2013, 2014 and 2015 have known the Memorial Student Center as little more than a construction zone in front of Kyle Field. But this isn’t the first time the student body has lost the MSC to renovations. The structure has grown with the size of the student body, and facility updates brought growing pains through the decades.
