Bentley Carroll Hooks Jr.(1929 - 2012)
Bentley Carroll Hooks Jr., 82, passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2012. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Monday at Arborlawn United Methodist Church. Memorials: Expressions of sympathy may be made to a
charity of your choice .
Ben was born March 23, 1929, in Waco to Bentley C. Hooks Sr. and Ruth Poteet. He proudly served in the U.S Air Force during the Korean War from 1951 to 1955. Ben married Doris Rucker in 1953, and later went on to his professional career for the next 36 years
as a most intelligent aeronautical engineer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Jane Orcutt. Survivors: Wife, Doris; daughters, Kay Wiesmann and husband, Dean, and Carol Thomson and husband, Bill; son-in-law, Bill Orcutt; brother, Jim Hooks and wife, Sue; and grandchildren, Dayna
and Kelly Wiesmann, Rachel and Jenny Thomson, and Colin and Sam Orcutt.

Bentley (Ben) C. Hooks, Jr. '50, 82 years, of Fort Worth, Texas died January 6, 2012. He was a first lieutenant in the U S Air Force and served in Korea. He retired as an aeronautical engineer from LTV. He is predeceased by one daughter, and survived by his
wife, Doris, two daughters and six grandchildren
