Melinda Kay Langford Melinda Kay Langford, age 49, of Cedar Park, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in Cedar Park. She was born on March 28, 1962 in Houston, Texas to Bill and Nancy (Swafford) Brimberry. As a young lady, Melinda was energetic,
joyful and curious about life. After high school, Melinda had dreamed of attending Texas A&M University, and her dreams came true. She graduated a proud member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie class of 1984 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
Joe Langford, on a warm summer's day, was blessed with Melinda's hand in marriage. They exchanged their wedding vows on June 11, 1988 in Austin, Texas. Melinda was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Austin. Melinda was known to everyone as an avid
Texas A&M Athletics fan. She loved her AGGIES.
Surviving Melinda are her husband Joe Langford of Cedar Park, TX; daughter, Erin Langford; son, Sam Langford; parents, Bill and Nancy Brimberry; sister, Susan Peacock; nephew, Christopher Peacock and wife Julie; niece, Sara Peacock; great niece, Laney Peacock;
great nephew, Troy Peacock; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Troy Peacock.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethany United Methodist Church in Austin. Burial
will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Georgetown.
Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Peacock, Jody Young, Jamie Dugan, Frank Valadez, Chris Roberts, and Rich Maddox.
