Thomas Hill
Thomas Keith Hill passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2012. He was born December 21, 1920 in Hallettsville, Texas.
Keith attended Texas A&M and graduated from the Naval Academy and served in the submarine service during World War II aboard the USS Tautog. He was a life long supporter of the Boy Scouts of America and Scout Master of Troop #2 in Bellaire, TX. Keith remained
involved in scouting as his two sons achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
Keith established his unique hardware store, "The Company Store" in Westbury, which he operated as sole proprietor for thirty years. His love of music led him to the Gilbert & Sullivan Society where he enjoyed performing for ten years. He and wife, Helen, were
charter members of St. John's Presbyterian Church in Westbury where they raised their family.
Keith is survived by his wife, Helen; daughter, Jane Ferrell; sons, Jerry Hill and wife, Kathy; David Hill and wife, Dawn; sister, Lela Standifer; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January, 18th at Memorial Drive Methodist Church, 12955 Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77079 at 2:00 p.m.
