Frederick WAGNER(1931 - 2012)
FREDERICK SIMON WAGNER, age 80, of Missouri City, Texas, passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2012. Fred was born in Anderson, Texas, on Dec. 23, 1931. He grew up in Plantersville, Texas, and graduated from Anderson High School. Following his service in the U.S. Air Force, Fred earned a degree from Texas A&M University. He worked for a short time as an English teacher before beginning a long career with the Social Security Administration.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Catherine Komar Wagner; brothers, Joseph Wagner, John Wagner, Fr. Ben Wagner, OMI, and Albert Wagner; sisters, Verna Gobar, Elizabeth Lindley, and Cecilia Wagner; and godson, Rod Gobar. He is survived by his wife Carol Ambler Wagner; and his three children and their families: Susan and Gary DuBois of Los Angeles, Calif., and son Colin; John and Lesa Wagner of Sugar Land, Texas, and daughters Allison, Amy and Ashley; and James and Laura Wagner of Katy, Texas, and daughters Kiersten and Kaela and son Carson. Fred also leaves behind stepdaughter, Susan Rinn of Seguin, Texas; stepson, Scott Greenlaw of Key West, Fla.; grandsons, Hunter, Kiel and Cole Von Feldt of Naperville, Ill.; and sisters, Agnes Looney of Connecticut, and Amelia Burke of Rosenberg, Texas.

Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land (Williams Trace Exit). Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at Calvary Episcopal Church, 806 Thompson Road, Richmond, TX, with The Rev. Paul B. Wehner, officiating. Interment will follow at Morton Cemetery, in Richmond.
