George Sidney Fulgham, COL (retired) USAF, was born in Crockett, Texas on June 9, 1932. He left this earth on December 19, 2011 at the age of 79. He was born to George (Joe) and Elizabeth Fulgham. Sid's first love was Jan Baker, who he married July 31, 1954, just after he graduated from Texas A&M and Jan graduated from Baylor. They were blessed with three daughters, Debra, Pamela and Kimberly. Sid joined the Active Duty Air Force in April of 1955. He immediately went into pilot training, which turned into the second love of his life. He really loved flying and served in many different states. His tours of duty included the Pentagon twice, Germany, the Philippines, Thule, Greenland and Vietnam twice. Sid's distinguished career merited several medals, citations and decorations including the Distinguished Flying Cross with 6 Oak Leaf Clusters.

Those who preceded him in death are his parents, grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Left to mourn his passing are: his loving wife of 57 years, Jan Fulgham, his three daughters and their husbands, Debra and Robert Otto, Pamela Fulgham and Robert Fryr, Kimberly and Jesse DeLosSantos, three granddaughters, Elise, Ariane, and Juliette Chreties, two grandsons, Colton and Clinton DeLosSantos, cousin, Vina Eskew and her two sons and families, Allen Eskew, Jr. and Judge Benton Eskew, cousin, Frank Fulgham and his wife Pat, and numerous other cousins and family members.

The family would like to give thanks to the Buckner Villas Campbell Center Doctors and Staff and also the Hospice Nurses and staff for all their loving care.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or Red Cross in loving memory of Sid Fulgham.
