The Aggie Crew Team, representing Texas A&M at Galveston, competed at the Head of the Oklahoma, a 4000 meter Head Race in Oklahoma City.
Varsity and novice rowers of the Aggie Crew Team competed alongside schools from across the nation, including Harvard and Stanford.
The Novice Women's 4+ team, made up of Abbey Stripling '12, Kelsi Kennedy '15, Ashley Riley '13, Jessica Cade '15 and Miranda Giroir '13, came home with a bronze medal.
The Novice Women 1x team, made by Kelsi Kennedy '15, came home with a silver medal.
Bringing home gold was the Mixed Varsity 8+ team, made up by Ashley Hons '13, Amanda Brooks '14, Roy Reyna '14, Michael Jordan '12, Edward Germany '14, Tony Schmidt '14, Kylie Galvez-Tuel '12, Miranda Giroir '13 and Steven Parma '12.
