Jim was deployed to Afghanistan with the 176th Engineer Brigade which is a part of the Texas
Army National Guard. He is a Lieutenant Colonel, and heads up the Technical Headquarters (Design and Surveying) within the Brigade. He returns to his job as the President of the Denton County Transportation Authority upon completion of the deployment.
Nancy ('84) is doing well, and she is the Public Works Director for the Town of Addison. She is also serving her second term as a member of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD School Board. They reside in Carrollton, TX, and have three children: Bob (19), Greg (16) and Allison (13). Bob (Class of 2013) is a junior aerospace engineering major at TAMU, and is a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band. Great reason to keep the season tickets!!
