Services for Louann "Hyde" Confer, 57, of Tool, were held at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Interment followed in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Van Zandt County.
She was born Louann Hyde, March 13, 1953 in Mabank, TX, daughter of William F. and Nell (Lollar) Hyde. She was the City Administrator at Mabank. Mrs. Confer was of the Presbyterian faith.
She is survived by her husband, R. Scott Confer of Tool; father, William F. Hyde of Mabank; aunts, Janie Crow and Nita Snowdon, both of Mabank; uncle, Jule Crow of Mabank; cousins, Beverly Fulfer and John Walter Crow; other family members and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nell Lollar Hyde.
Pallbearers are Mike Hutcheson, Larry Teague, Wayne McDonald, Johnny Adams, Ronnie Tuttle and Kyle McAfee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
