Funeral services for Mr. Charles L. Rich, age 93, of Lovelady, will be held Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Lovelady.  Interment will follow in the Lovelady Evergreen Cemetery.  Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lovelady First Baptist Church or Texas A&M Twelfth Man Foundation.

Mr. Charles L. Rich, age 93, of Lovelady, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 at his residence.  He was born August 9, 1917 in Lovelady, Texas and was a resident of Lovelady.  Mr. Rich was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II.  He was an audio and visual specialist for the U. S. Air Force.  Mr. Rich was retired having worked for public schools and junior colleges as a science teacher.  He was a member of the Association of Former Students of Texas A&M and was a proud member of the First Baptist Church in Lovelady.  Survivors include son, Herman Charles “Chuck” Rich; daughter, Charlotte Ann Baker; grandchildren, Emilia Rich, Doris June Dabney, Jenny Lynn Spray, Newman Foster Baker III “T’ree” and Laura Belle Mayo; ten great-grandchildren, Jake Dabney, Emily Dabney, Benjamin Dabney, Ryan Spray, Corey Spray, Conner Spray, Lauren Spray, Anna Grace Baker, Ava Kate Mayo, Carlton John Mayo III and #11 due in 1 month; numerous other relatives. Preceded in death by his wife, June Rich and parents, Herman and Annie Rich.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles L. Rich will be held Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the Lovelady First Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Matthews officiating.  Military graveside services will follow in the Lovelady Evergreen Cemetery.  Family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lovelady First Baptist Church or Texas A&M Twelfth Man Foundation, P.
