Funeral services for Jayne Ellen Johnson will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 9, 2010 in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Odom and Rev. Michael McIntoch officiating. Committal services will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery under the
guidance of White Oaks, Oakdale.
Jayne Ellen, 27, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Friday, December 3, 2010 in her residence. She was born in Oakdale on September 18, 1983 to the union of Raymond Johnson and Laquita Welch Johnson. She was a 2001 graduate of Bolton
High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource ... from Texas A&M. She was employed by British Gas in Houston, Texas. She was very active in Ducks Unlimited, loved fishing and hunting and served on the Houston Rodeo Committee. She was
a loving daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend.
Her grandfather, N.E. Johnson precedes her in death.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Raymond and Laquita Johnson of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; maternal grandparents, Vernon and Elsie Welch of Oakdale; paternal grandmother, Vera Lois Johnson of Oakdale; seven uncles, Randy Welch and wife, Judy,
Andy Welch and wife, Melissa, Keith Welch and wife, Allison, Tommy Johnson and wife, Phyllis, Nathan Johnson and wife, Martha, Michael Johnson and wife, Jenny and Arnold Johnson and wife, Ruth, all of Oakdale; one aunt, Betty Johnson Stockman and husband,
Tommy of Oakdale and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers to serve are Arnold Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Michael Johnson, Chad Welch, Aaron Welch and Phillip Vining. Honorary pallbearer to serve will be James Welch.
Friends may call today from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm in the chapel and on Thursday from 9:00 am until time of service.
