I believe that everyone has a responsibility to use their gifts to influence their environment for the better. Outside of the realm of criminal law, I place my energy into endeavors that encourage and inspire people to identify their unique talents, reach their full potential and use their influence. I am energized when organizing with others to create movements and seek the opportunity to build community wherever I go. I believe that our unique perspectives are invaluable; and transforming our environments is dependent on authentic individuals having the ability to confidently take their seat at the table and contribute. I chose Texas A&M University because in addition to the world class education, I saw my passion for service to others, social justice and community reflected in the Aggie Core Values. I choose Texas A&M today because the Aggie Network, including Aggies I met while on campus and those I have met since, continues to put these values into action.
