Worked for First City National Bank in Petroleum Department from 1963-1981. Manager of department 1977-1981. Worked for Clayton Williams 1982-1983. Worked as president of First City Finance Corporation 1983-86. Partner in Diverse Energy Group 1986-93. Retired in 1993. Trustee of Houston Museum of Natural Science, Board member of Washington on the Brazos State Park Ass'n. President of Chappell Hill Historical Society 2000-2002, President of Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce 2003. President of Independence Historical Society 2004.
