Bio

Christian Newton is the Chief of Staff for the Office of Science at the U.S. Department of Energy. He is a dedicated leader with a robust background in strategic planning and organizational management. Christian earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University, where he was heavily involved in campus leadership and gained research experience at the Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine. At the beginning of his career, he served as Chief of Staff at the Black Conservative Federation, worked in the U.S. House of Representatives, and was a member of President Donald Trump's presidential advance team. Throughout his career, Christian has demonstrated a commitment to public service and a passion for advancing scientific research. His extensive experiences and proven leadership abilities continue to drive his efforts to make a meaningful impact on the nation's energy and scientific landscape.
