Scot O. Walker '90

Scot leads a division that includes Communication, Marketing, Legislative Affairs, Reception, Creative Services, Human Resources, and Web Operations. He is editor-in-chief of Texas Aggie magazine and also oversees brand and trademark management, social media, and business development. Scot earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Texas A&M, where he lived in Crocker Hall, was editor of The Battalion for two terms, and received the Don Johnson Award as outstanding journalism graduate. He joined The Association staff in 2007 after 17 years as a newspaper reporter and editor. He has served as a mentor in the Maroon & White Leadership Fellows, was honored as a Fish Camp namesake in 2017, and has served as “the voice of Aggie Ring Day” 40 times. Scot is a member of the Mark Francis Fellows of the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, and he and his wife, Marie, established the Clara and Rod Armstrong Endowed Century Club Fund.
