James Austion "Jim" Tomlinson, Jr. 

September 7, 1963 - October 14, 2023 

James Austion Tomlinson, Jr., 60, of Sugar Land, TX, passed away on October 14, 2023. Born on September 7, 1963, in Houston, TX, Jim was a beloved husband, father, and friend.

Jim, also known as James Austion Tomlinson, had a gentle and light-hearted nature that was contagiously optimistic. He possessed a strong belief and was a man of faith. Jim had a gift for peacemaking and always sought to bring people together. He had a heart full of love and his presence would break the silence, crack a joke, and brighten any room. Jim was truly adored by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and he always wanted the best for everyone around him.

Jim's educational journey led him to Texas A&M University, where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in the Class of 1986. 

Beyond his academic pursuits, Jim had a zest for life and a wide range of hobbies. He enjoyed playing tennis and running to stay active. Exploring new places and meeting new people were activities that brought him great joy. Jim also cherished spending quality time with his loved ones, whether it be grilling together, watching movies, or simply engaging in meaningful conversations. He had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel, appreciating the beauty and diversity of the world.

Jim leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and optimism. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.

May Jim Tomlinson rest in eternal peace, and may his loved ones find solace in the cherished memories they shared with him.
