Donald Eads Kemendo 

April 2, 1921 - June 1, 2021 

Donald Eads Kemendo, 100, of Houston, Texas passed away on June 1, 2021. Donald was born on April 2, 1921 in Waco, Texas to Tino Guy and Rubylee Kemendo. He was married to Ruth Kemendo until her passing in 2012.

He was a true American hero serving as a bomber pilot in World War II flying 50 missions, and was a graduate of Texas A&M University Class of '48. He had a career as a chemical engineer for Brown and Root. A devout member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church for over 65 years and most importantly an awesome father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Frances Mackey; brother George Kemendo, and loving wife Ruth Kemendo. Donald is survived by son Charles Kemendo and his wife Robin; grandchildren Craig, Kevin, and Corey; great-grandchildren Camren and Carson; and niece Martha Barton.

A visitation for Donald will be held Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster. A graveside service will be on Monday, June 7, 2021 at South Park Cemetery in Pearland at 10:00 a.m.

We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and he will be dearly missed!
