Malcolm Craig Brewer 

January 7, 1939 - January 8, 2023 

Malcolm Craig Brewer, age 84, of Conroe, Texas was born on January 7, 1939 in Timpson, Texas and went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2023.

Malcolm was born to H.C. Brewer and Betty Rosine Brewer and was 1 of 5 children. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin High School in Bryan, Texas, he attended Kilgore Jr. College, Henderson Jr. College & N.E. Louisiana Jr. College respectively being awarded football scholarships to play in athletics and further his education. He then transferred to Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas to complete his Bachelor degree in Business Administration in 1962.

Malcolm served his country in the U.S. Air Force and served 6 years in the Reserves. He worked in the oil field as a young man and most of his career was spent in retail sales. Later in life, he went back to college to become a landscaper because of his love of flowers. His pastime was spent golfing, fishing, vacationing with family and reading.

Malcolm is preceded in death by his father H.C. Brewer; mother, Betty Rosine Brewer and brother, Henry W. Brewer.

Malcolm is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Brewer of 56 years; son, Kyle Brewer and fiancée Martha Zuniga; daughter, Kelly Reneau and husband Link and grandchildren Brady Risner and Madison Brewer. Malcolm has 3 surviving siblings: brother, Charles Brewer and wife Ester and family; brother, Jerry Brewer and wife Beth and family and sister, Rosie Moncrief and husband Mike and family.

Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 2:00pm in Cashner Colonial Hall. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cashnerconroe.com for the Brewer family.

Malcolm supported the veterans and the Brewer family welcomes donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
