Ann DeWitt-Rohrer
March 26, 1955 - January 9, 2017
A brilliant light was extinguished on January 9th, 2017, with the sudden and tragic death of Ann DeWitt-Rohrer. A caring and gifted teacher, loving and devoted wife and supermom, Ann brought energy and passion to everything she did.
She loved to explore the backcountry of the high desert, drive the dirt roads with the windows down, and camp on the sides of canyons. She studied the stars and all things science. Her love was unconditional, her words unequivocal, and her determination to be truthful and honest in all she said and did was uncompromising.
Ann leaves behind husband Thomas DeWitt-Rohrer, as well as her greatest pride, her sons Alex and Kirk Elder (wife Qurisha), and granddaughter Ava. She is also survived by mother Phyliss DeWitt and sisters Sue Prader and Kirsten Deobalb (husband Barry), as well as extended family including three stepdaughters Denise Rohrer, Danielle Beisert, and Desiree Isa (husband Tony), grandchildren Camryn, Gaige, Kaylea, Beth, Jordan, Anthony, Karla and Luke, and beloved mother-in-law Madeline Rohrer.
Her loving smile and infectious laugh will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
