Howdy, Aggies!

We have crossed the halfway point of the 87th Legislative Session in Austin! As a public university, Texas A&M depends on the biennial legislative sessions that authorize and appropriate vital funding for the university and system, as well as shape policies and regulations governing higher education. For the remainder of the 87th Legislative Session, AggieNews will bring you monthly updates on items from our state capitol impacting Texas A&M from the Texas A&M Advocacy Network.

Want more updates? Want to help advance Texas A&M before the state legislature? Become an Aggie Advocate!

The Texas A&M Advocacy Network, a program of The Association of Former Students, mobilizes friends and former students of Texas A&M to engage key stakeholders on issues impacting the university. The Advocacy Network is non-partisan and does not endorse candidates; its mission is to promote the interests and welfare of Texas A&M University.
