Aggie Women Name 2019 Legacy Award Winners

Aggie Women, a chartered constituent network of The Association of Former Students, named the latest recipients of its Legacy Award.
The three honorees are Rita Hernandez ’86, Angie Rogers ’84 and Charean Williams ’86. The award honors Aggie women for their contributions to Texas A&M, their communities and the world, and for exemplifying the university’s core values.
The group also presented M. Cynthia Hipwell, a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, with the Eminent Scholar Award, a joint recognition with the president of Texas A&M specifically for female faculty at A&M.
