Softly Call the Muster, a short film about a Muster on a Southwest Airlines flight in 2018, has received another accolade for video storytelling.
The documentary was honored as Best Domestic Documentary at the fifth annual Cobb International Film Festival. The award is announced at 44:25 in this recording of the live steam from the festival's awards ceremony: https://www.facebook.com/cobbinternationalfilmfestival/videos/365171217490348/
Softly Call the Muster is a 10-minute film that tells the story of a unique Aggie Muster held on board an Honor Flight between Washington, D.C., and Houston. The flight included four Aggie veterans of World War II, one of whom was at Corregidor for the legendary 1946 Aggie Muster there.
Softly Call the Muster previously received a Gold People's Telly for non-broadcast production at the 40th annual Telly Awards for video storytelling. Awards in that category were determined by votes from the public; only three were selected for Gold awards.
