On Sunday, brunch events in Los Angeles and Texas will bring Aggies together and spread the word about September’s upcoming 10th annual Aggie Big Kick It.
For “National Aggie Brunch Day” on Aug. 4, 2019, volunteers are hosting brunches in Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas and Austin.

It’s part of the push that the Big Kick It committee (part of the Black Former Student Network) is putting into making this year’s Aggie Big Kick It weekend – Sept. 20-22 – the largest ever.
Every year, Big Kick It draws 200 to 300 Aggies. Last year, the committee partnered with A&M student organizations for a week of leadup events as well as a networking brunch.
The 2018 Big Kick It tailgate fostered socializing with great food and a family atmosphere – couches, coffee tables and games all under the big tent next to Kyle Field at the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center.
At the next day’s networking seminar, a panel of former students shared career and professional experiences, including how to leverage the Aggie Network.
Visit AggieBigKickIt.com for hotel and football ticket details as you plan to attend the biggest Big Kick It yet!
The Black Former Student Network, a Constituent Network of The Association of Former Students, is also expanding its current student mentoring program and organizing its first Aggie IMPACT Awards Gala, on Nov. 23 in the Williams Alumni Center, honoring outstanding black former students.
