Bio

Wes is the Mayor of Coppell, Texas. He was elected to the City Council 2012 and was re-elected in 2014 and again in 2017. He was elected Mayor in 2021. Wes is the Director of Design Engineering for Virtex Enterprises. He is responsible for all design engineering services that the company provides.  He is a multiple patent holder encompassing a broad range of technical areas.  He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. Wes is an Eagle Scout also holding the Silver Beaver award from the BSA. He has served as the Muster Chairman for the Coppell A&M club since 2008.  Wes and Linda (Alcorn '83), have been married since 1984.  Their son, Chris '12, is a Computer Engineer.  Their daughter, Allison '16 & '17, with a masters in real estate, works as a commercial real estate appraiser.
