Bio

Clay graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Sport Management in 2009. He is originally from Southern California, but has strong family roots at Texas A&M as multiple aunts, uncles and cousins have graduated from the university as well.  After graduation, he spent the next 7 years working in professional and college baseball where he held a variety of titles including Director of Food and Beverage, as well as Director of Baseball Operations. Clay worked at The Association of Former Students from January of 2017 to May of 2021, where he oversaw all young alumni programs and was the staff liaison to nearly half of The Association's Constituent Networks. In January of 2022 he began his new role as Director of Development at Brazos Christian School in Bryan, TX where he is looking forward to building relationships that will allow him to match people's passions with opportunities on campus that will make a positive impact for Christ. His interests include going on adventures with his wife and three children, supporting a wide array of sports teams, competing in fantasy sports, quoting movies, playing video games and spending quality time with his family and friends. His wife, Cassie Jackson, is a licensed cosmetologist and insurance recruiter, his daughter, Harper, loves to ice skate, dance and make various crafts, his oldest son, Tucker, likes to play sports, jump on the trampoline and watch movies, and his youngest son, Callum, enjoys playing with his toy race cars, listening to music and wrestling with his brother. Clay and Cassie are expecting their fourth child to join the family in February of 2022. Clay also has two pups, a Great Dane named Jack and a Cattle Dog named Copper.
